Appleseed Hollow Workshop

Atglen, Pennsylvania 

Saturday, April 16, 2011: ½ Day – 6am to 11 am

Mercers Mills historic complex dates back from a 1744 land grant from William Penn. The first mill was built by the Quakers, Thomas Downing and Caleb Pierce. Remains of the millraces and dam can still be seen. Other important early structures include two stone houses, a barn and other rustic buildings. We will spend the morning capturing the Waldenesque beauty of this place.

Springtime in the Smokies - Photographic Tour

Townsend, Tennessee

April 24 - 28, 2011

Noon Sunday to 10am Thursday

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park and its surroundings will be the setting for this magnificent week of springtime, with the dogwoods coming into bloom and new life exploding into being all around us. The National Park is set in the midst of mountains, forests, lakes and streams, plus small towns with singularly interesting histories. Join us for this 5 day tour.

Transportation:
Driving conditions will consist of mainly paved roads. When possible we prefer that participants car pool with each other to help limit our impact and get to know each other. A standard rental car will be sufficient.

Fitness Level:
Easy to low Moderate. This tour does involve some short trail hiking to arrive at certain shooting locations, while other shooting locations will be just beyond the parking lot. Even short hikes to streams and waterfalls can involve slippery, uneven terrain, so hiking boots are recommended. A standard liability release form will be required before departure.

Cape May - Photographic Workshop


Cape May, New Jersey

Cape May has become known for its beautiful lighthouse, Victorian gingerbread homes and its pristine beaches. Join us and we'll get you to all of the best locations and share our years of photographic knowledge and experience!

Grand Tetons  - Photographic Tour

Babcock State Park - Photographic Tour


Clifftop, West Virginia


October 14-16, 2011
- 6pm Friday to 11am Sunday

Join us for this photographic weekend at the enchanted Glade Creek Grist Mill nestled in Babcock State Park. The park offers 4,127 acres of serene, yet rugged beauty, a fast flowing trout stream in a boulder-strewn canyon and mountainous vistas to be viewed from several scenic overlooks.  All of this variety is located adjacent to the New River Gorge National 'River and the heart of the whitewater rafting industry of West Virginia.
